SHS Student Center Now Open Student Center

We are super excited to announce that our “Student Center” is now up and running during all four lunches periods!

While there is administrative and counselor oversight of the center, the goal is for the center to truly be student-centered and student-led.  Each lunch period has two Student Supervisors who are responsible for recruiting and assigning student tutors, overseeing tutoring requests, and communicating with those students requesting peer tutors.

All peer tutors earn community services hours for their time spent tutoring.  If you have students who would like to be a tutor, please encourage them to swing by the Student Center during their lunch period and speak to the Student Supervisor on duty.

Thank you so much for supporting our students in this new adventure!  The hope is that all students will benefit from these opportunities!
