My Greatest Influences:

My greatest influences in my life have been my parents.  Their strength and guidance have made me the person I am today.

My Goals as a School Counselor:

To continue to encourage connections with all students and staff.

To develop a parent recourse "tool box" at the school that would consist of make and take activities/resources to assist parents in specific situations with their children.

Implement mindfulness activities for all students and staff members.

My Words of Wisdom:

Be the BEST versions of you

My Greatest Influences:

It's amazing that even after all these years, my parents' impact on my life continues to be strong. They taught me everything from learning how to handle the challenges of life to understanding the meaning of empathy, and how to find fulfillment in helping others.

My Goals as a School Counselor:

My ultimate, overarching goal as a school counselor is to try to help empower the kids I work with to achieve increased levels of self-awareness and self-acceptance, so they can formulate life goals that can help them meet their needs.

My Words of Wisdom:

I will never forget Kierkegaard's quote:  "Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards." Remembering that sometimes helps me get out of my head when I am stuck and overthinking things.
