Superintendent of Schools Dr. Brian V. Hightower and School Board member Patsy Jordan speak with Dr. Chad Flatt, who currently serves as principal of Pickens Junior High School and is joining CCSD as an assistant principal at Woodstock MS, and his wife.
The Cherokee County School District on Thursday evening hosted a New Leaders Reception for the School Board to meet the educators recommended by the Superintendent of Schools for school and district leadership roles. The reception, which was sponsored by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, a CCSD Partner, gave School Board members the chance to meet and talk with the new leaders. The new leaders and their families enjoyed a warm welcome, refreshments and a gift from Children’s Healthcare at the annual event, which is held at CCSD’s administrative offices.
