Junior Savannah Bray, an outside hitter for the Etowah Lady Eagles surpassed two career milestones last week as she broke the 1000 kill mark and the 1000 dig mark as well. This is a tremendous feat for an athlete who rarely comes out of the game, playing both offense and defense. Savannah has already reached two milestones in her junior year that only a few players attain in their high school career. Last season she was an All County, All Area and an All State player and this year she is off to a great start with explosive stats that will hopefully add more accolades to her already successful career.
Raymone Devezin is a true example of hard work, dedication, and toughness on the football field. As a Junior, Raymone displays his commitment to his team daily in practice and in film sessions through his attendance, focus, and efforts to constantly better himself, as well as his teammates. His energy, attitude, and drive serves as a major attribute to our program and is a model for every Etowah Eagle Football player. Raymone's skills and hard work were definitely on display against North Cobb HS, as he totaled 10 Solo Tackles and one Assist at the Defensive Tackle position.
