Courses are designed to assist students with individually focused career exploration, with the development of skills required for entering the job market, and/or realizing future post-secondary educational goals. A formal seal of endorsement from the Georgia Board of Education will be awarded to those students who successfully complete the endorsed course of study.

Career Pathways

Career and Technical Education Pathways – a graduate who completes a series of three or four specified courses in a CTAE approved pathway leading to a possible industry-recognized credential. When a student has completed their third year of a path of study, they are required to take an End of Pathway Test (EOPT) which will enable them to receive additional recognition at state, local, or school levels. At Sequoyah, CTAE courses play a vital role in preparing our students for the workplace.

Below you can view an overview of the Pathways and the respective industry certification offered.
